Sculpture part of planned Art Walk at NSU

Natchitoches artists Matt DeFord and Danny Brockner are in the process of installing a collaborative piece of public art on the city’s downtown riverbank near the Roque House.

Located on the north end of Rue Beauport, the piece entitled “Riviére a travers la pierre” is one of the first that officials hope will enhance the rich landscape of Natchitoches’ downtown historic landmark district and engage pedestrians in public art displays.
