The Fifth Annual Classic Car Show will be held on Saturday, Oct. 1 in downtown Natchitoches.
More than 300 classic cars, dating to 1980 and older, are expected to be on display during the car show. This free event is open to the public from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on October 1.
Downtown businesses and restaurants in the Natchitoches Historic District will remain open during the day and many will have special promotions and events taking place throughout the day at their respective stores.
This year’s Classic Car Show will feature nine different bands that will perform throughout the day on three different stages in the downtown area. Stages will be located on the downtown riverbank, near the Convention and Visitors Bureau at 781 Front Street and across from The Landing Restaurant at 530 Front Street.
This annual event is sponsored by the Natchitoches Historic District Business Association.
In addition to the Classic Car Show, the Natchitoches Regional Airport will host a Cane River Aviation Rendezvous Fly-in at the airport on Saturday, Oct. 1. The general public is invited to attend this free event and view planes from all across the country. A shuttle service will be provided to escort visitors back and forth to the downtown area.
