Sylvan Learning Ctr. to kick-off 'Amazing Reading Race' contest for area students | Arts & Culture

Sylvan will again be hosting the "Amazing Reading Race" reading contest for students grades K-8 in Caddo, DeSoto, Webster and Bossier parishes.
We will use our Book Adventure web-site to track which students pass the most number of quizzes on books that they have read from June 1 through August 31.
Prizes will be awarded for grades K-2, 3-5, and 6-8 as well as a GRAND PRIZE!!
We will be hosting a kick-off party at the center ,6560 Youree Drive Suite 1001 on Friday, May 4, at 4:30p.m.
Storytellers from four of the Shreve Memorial Libraries will be on hand to entertain, free refreshments will be offered, and parents will have the opportunity to sign their students up for the Reading Race.
