Witch Way to Main Street set for Oct. 31 | Arts & Culture

The City of Natchitoches and Main Street Program will sponsor Witch Way to Main Street from 5 to 7 p.m. on Halloween in downtown Natchitoches.
Children 12 and under will be allowed to trick-or-treat at participating downtown businesses and organizations that will be set up along Front Street.
Witch Way to Main Street will also feature: face painting, Sparky the Fire Dog, a Haunted House, tours of the ‘Haunted’ Natchitoches Parish Library Bookmobile, games, and more!
Children must be in costume and accompanied by an adult to participate. Candy and prizes will be distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Following Witch Way to Main Street, there will be a spooky family movie in Beau Jardin. There is no charge for admission to the movie and children must be accompanied by adults.
Natchitoches police officers will be on duty to ensure children’s safety. Front Street will be shut down from the Church Street Bridge to Lafayette Street, beginning at 3 p.m. The downtown riverbank will remain open for parking but the north entrance will be closed.For more information about Witch Way to Main Street, please call the Main Street Office at (318) 357-3822.
