Springhill brings Mardi Gras to North Webster Parish | Arts & Culture

Springhill’s Main Street Program will once again bring Mardi Gras to North Webster Parish on Saturday, Jan. 26, 2013.
The festivities begin at 1 p.m. with the Annual Mardi Gras on Main Parade. This year’s theme is “A Roaring Good Time on Main Street”!
This family oriented event is always a crowd pleaser with lots of throws. Springhill’s Krewe of Artemis leads the way!
Immediately following the parade will be the 2nd Annual Mardi Gras on Main Block Party. Bice Street between Main Street and 1st Street will be closed for live music, free king cake and other fun stuff!
Kody Hughes and Crossfire will perform for the crowd. Sponsors for this new favorite event are Carter Federal Credit Union, Springhill Medical Center, Krewe of Artemis and Springhill Main Street.
