SABINE PARISH, LA (KSLA) - A Denham Springs, Louisiana woman was arrested by the Sabine Parish Sheriff's Department this week for allegedly selling and promoting a concert that deputies say was never scheduled to take place.

Carolyn Sullivan Harrell, 53 faces felony theft by fraud charges.

Accroding to the Sheriff Department, they began receiving calls from citizens concerning a music concert featuring Hank Williams Jr. and Kid Rock, that was supposed to be being held in Zwolle, Louisiana. Deputies investigating the calls learned that tickets were being sold for $100 each.

Investigators then contacted the entertainment company that represents both artists who in turn, provided a written statement showing that no concert was scheduled on the proposed date and that neither artist would be in the area.

Upon arresting Harrell, deputies reportedly seized approximately $11,780.00 in cash and money orders. Investigators also seized a list of victims.

Harrell is being held at the Sabine Parish Detention Center for Women with bond pending. Authorities say more arrests may follow.
