Chesapeake Energy donated on Tuesday a 2011 Chevy Silverado, formerly of the company’s security fleet, to the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office.
At an event held at the sheriff’s headquarters in Center, Texas, Chesapeake presented the keys to the four-wheel-drive truck that the company says will provide durable transportation and access to rural sites.

Membership in Beta Gamma Sigma is the highest recognition a business student can receive in a business program accredited by Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business International.
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development will host a public meeting to discuss potential improvements at the LA 531/I-20 interchange. The meeting runs from 6 p.m. - 8 p.m. on Thursday, December 6 at the Minden Civic Center, 520 Broadway Street in Minden.
