Community Care Center supports NSU nursing scholarship

Natchitoches Community Care Center contributed to a scholarship to benefit nursing students pursuing clinical studies. 

The Natchitoches Community Care Center Endowed Scholarship in Nursing is a $500 one-year award, with preference for a Natchitoches resident.

NSU receives grant to promote Engineering Tech. program

Timber management company Weyerhaeuser has given a $10,000 grant to Northwestern State University's Engineering Technology Program. The money comes from the Weyerhaeuser Giving Fund Grant program and will help NSU attract more students to the Engineering Technology Program and show what careers are available to ET graduates.

Northwestern State University student Ashley O’Corr Davis of Pleasant Hill was selected as the recipient of the 2012 Louisiana Association of Business Educators Postsecondary Scholarship, a one-semester award of $500.
