Natchitoches man raising money for families of slain S. LA deputies | Community Spirit

Natchitoches resident Don Boehly, with help from several of this neighbors, will sell barbecue plate dinners and send the money to the families of the two St. John Parish sheriff's deputies killed in an ambush.

The Blue BBQ will be held at 4601 Hwy. 3278 (see map below) on Sunday, September 9.

Each plate costs $6.50 with a choice of ribs, chicken or sausage, along with brown beans and potato salad. They will also deliver the dinners to folks within the Natchitoches area.

Mr. Boehly wants to thank the Bank of Montgomery for allowing the use of their BBQ Pit. He's also asking for help in finding hickory or pecan firewood.
