Suspect sketch released in Natchitoches home invasion

The Natchitoches Parish Sheriff's Office has released a composite sketch drawing a person involved in a home invasion which left a woman injured from a gunshot wound.

Anyone who recognizes the person in the sketch is asked to call the sheriff's office at 318-357-7830.

The sheriff's office says on Monday, Conswela Mitchell had to be airlifted to LSU hospital woman after she was shot in the chest during a robbery at her home in the 3200 block of Posey Road.

Natchitoches Parish woman shot during home invasion

A Natchitoches Parish woman was airlifted to the hospital after she was shot during a home invasion.

The sheriff's office says 911 got a call about mid-morning on Monday about a home invasion and a shooting. When deputies and EMT crews got to the home in the 3200 block of Posey Road, they found Conswela Mitchell suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest.

Caddo man wanted for stealing checks from mailboxes

The Caddo Sheriff’s Office is looking for a Keithville man who's accused of taking checks from mail boxes then cashing them.

The arrest warrant is for 27-year-old Joseph R. Colvard III. He's wanted for forgery and bank fraud.

DeSoto man to spend life in prison for double murders

A Mansfield, LA man will spend the rest of his life in prison after pleading guilty to two counts of murder.

37-year-old Stephen Rivers plead guilty to two counts of first-degree murder. He will serve two life sentences and will not be eligible for parole.

LA woman arrested in Sabine Parish for selling fake concert tickets

SABINE PARISH, LA (KSLA) - A Denham Springs, Louisiana woman was arrested by the Sabine Parish Sheriff's Department this week for allegedly selling and promoting a concert that deputies say was never scheduled to take place.

Carolyn Sullivan Harrell, 53 faces felony theft by fraud charges.
