NWLA Master Gardeners announce 2012 Les Tour des Jardins | Environment

The annual Northwest Louisiana Master Gardeners (Tour of Gardens) Les Tour des Jardins will be in Northwest Louisiana; Saturday, May 5th from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, May 6th from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
On tour are six fabulous, privately owned gardens that feature creativity and great landscaping ideas that are "doable". This is your opportunity to see five private gardens that you might not see otherwise. The gardens are located in Bossier City, Benton and Shreveport. The sixth garden included on this year's tour is a professionally landscaped garden.
Tickets are $10.00 prior to the tour and $12.00 if you buy your ticket at any of the individual gardens.Tickets are also available at any Citizens Ntional Bank location, from any Master Gardener, or at the Randle T. Moore Center on the corner of Fairfield and East Kings Highway. Tickets feature a map showing the location of all six gardens.
In addition to the six gardens on tour there's a special FREE Garden Bazaar at the Pioneer Heritage Center on the LSUS campus. There you'll find local and out of town vendors featuring beautiful garden accessories, plants of all types, and ecology minded garden equipment for sale.
