Hooters offers free meal Veterans Day

Hooters - Free Meal, Friday, Nov. 11. Hooter's is serving up a free meal to military veterans all day on Veterans Day.

Offer good for all veterans and active-duty military personnel.

Choose one of the new specialty items on the Hooter's menu. Offer valid at participating Hooters only.

The free meal is open to all active duty and military veterans with valid military ID or proof of military service. Drink purchase required.

LA Groundwater Management public meeting set for Nov. 9th

The Louisiana Department of Natural Resources (DNR) Office of Conservation will host a series of public meetings in November to provide information on the state’s past and current ground water resources management practices.

DNR officials also hope to draft recommendations for a statewide ground water plan.

A meeting is scheduled to be held in Shreveport, Wednesday, November 9th at 5:30 p.m. and will be held at the Louisiana State Exhibit Museum, located at 3015 Greenwood Rd.
