Natchitoches teen pageants now seeking contestants

The city of Natchitoches has started looking for contestants for the 2012 Natchitoches Queens Scholarship Program. 

The scholarship program consists of two pageants: The Miss Merry Christmas Pageant and the Miss Natchitoches Teen Pageant. Both pageants will begin at 5 p.m. on Sunday, September 30 at the Natchitoches Events Center.

5th annual D'town Natchitoches Car Show this weekend

The Fifth Annual Classic Car Show will be held on Saturday, Oct. 1 in downtown Natchitoches.

More than 300 classic cars, dating to 1980 and older, are expected to be on display during the car show. This free event is open to the public from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Tickets on sale now for Mansfield Business and Civic Association Fashion Show

Tickets for "A Girls Night: Fashion Tea & Me", the annual fundraiser for the Mansfield Business and Civic Association, must be purchased by Friday, July 22 at 4:30 p.m. The show will be at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 26 at the First Methodist Church. The tickets are $20 for a buffet-style dinner, style show and comedians. There will also be drawings for door prizes.
