Two injured after rental truck, semi crash in DeSoto Parish

Two Bossier City men were airlifted to the hospital Thursday evening after a head-on crash between a rental truck and an 18-wheeler.

The accident happened just after 5 p.m. in DeSoto Parish on U.S. Hwy. 84 just east of LA 510.

Man killed in Bienville Parish rollover wreck

BIENVILLE PARISH, LA (KSLA) - Louisiana State Police investigated a fatal accident in Bienville Parish late Thursday night.

The accident reportedly happened around 10:30 p.m. on Highway 4, two miles west of Castor, Louisiana. According to State Police, the driver, who has been identified as Eddie Barnes, entered a curve and somehow lost control of his vehicle.

The car then reportedly ran off the road and flipped at least two times, according to crash investigators.

Suspected DWI accident claims the life of Webster deputy's grandson

A 19-year-old faces DWI and vehicular homicide charges after a Friday morning accident that killed the grandson of a Webster Parish deputy.

Springhill Police Chief Will Lynd says the wreck happened just after midnight on Spring Branch Road near N. Giles Road. Lynd says right now it appears the driver, 19-year-old Salil Tharyani, was driving at a high rate of speed when he lost control of the car and ran off the road.

CASA hosting classic car show for fundraiser

CASA is hosting an Antique Car and Motorcycle show for its first ever Crusing for a Christmas Cause. The show is on November 19 at the Arcadia Outlet Mall from 8:30 AM- 3:00 PM. The mall is just off of I-20 at Exit 69. All proceeds from this event will go to CASA  to help buy Christmas presents for abused and neglected children from Bienville, Claiborne and Jackson Parishes.

Gibsland, LA man ejected in Bienville parish two-vehicle collision

BIENVILLE PARISH, LA (KSLA) - A 46-year-old man from Gibsland, Louisiana was critically injured and airlifted to a local hospital Thursday evening after having been involved in a major two-vehicle crash in Bienville Parish.

According to Louisiana State Police, troopers responded to LA Hwy. 154 at its intersection with LA Hwy. 516 in Bienville Parish Thursday. According to investigating troopers, 46-year-old Joseph C. Thompson of Ruston was traveling north on LA 154 towing a utility trailer,  when he entered the intersection of LA 516.
